Los Angeles, CA- July 27, 2000: Heart Strings: Making Music, Creating Hope, a celebrity guitar auction and all-star jam benefiting the American Cancer Society and the Fender Museum of Music and the Arts, will be held Tuesday, November 14th at the Hard Rock Café/Beverly Center in Los Angeles. The event seeks to raise $2 million via the auction of celebrity-painted Fender Stratocaster® guitars and sale of limited edition collectible miniatures created by event sponsor, Cast Art Industries. The Heart Strings media preview will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. and feature a performance by a rocking kids' band from the Fender Museum of Music and the Arts.
