Join Us & Rock on the Uke!

Ukuleles are such fun to play and so easy to learn. Classes are forming now for January.  Experienced guitarist and ukulele player, Lee Zimmer, will offer two levels in the four-week courses; Beginner to introduce you to the instrument or Experienced to take the practiced player to the next step in improving chord and strumming work.  The course will be one-hour, once per week classes that start on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at the Fender Center for the Performing Arts in Corona.

We invite you to sign up for these lessons & get a rockin’ great deal on a Fender® Soprano Ukulele.  Get four lessons AND a New Soprano Ukulele for only $130.  (Concert Ukes available for an additional charge.) You’ll be playing songs by the last class and wanting to sign up for the next level session that follows.  If you own your own Uke, the four-week class is only $80.  Advance registration with payment is required and will be accepted by phone at (951) 735-2440. Or by email to dconenna@KidsRockFree.org. Or at Fender Center 365 N. You can turn this into a great holiday gift idea.  Wrap up the ukulele with a gift certificate for the class.  Orders must be received by Dec. 15th to ensure delivery by Dec. 22nd.

Kids Rock Free® invites you to GiveBig with us on November 12! Join us here at Fender® Center for the Performing Arts. Come to listen, or come to play! Anyone who plays the ukulele is welcome to demonstrate their skills. You can bring your guitar too or enjoy delicious snacks!

Rock with the Uke as we anticipate the rise of Corona nonprofits’ donations on the GiveBig Leaderboard. Leading nonprofits will receive matching funds. While we’re waiting our big win, you can anticipate a prize too.

One lucky donor will receive a free Ukulele in KRF’s drawing!

GiveBigRiverside is a 24-hour online giving campaign on 11.12.13 that allows you to give to your favorite causes in our community. KRF’s goal is for everyone who cares about Kids Rock Free to support us and enjoy the music.

From 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on November 12th, supporters of Riverside County nonprofits can go online, connect with causes they care about and make a donation. Every donation made has a chance of receiving a “Golden Ticket.” When a randomly selected donor is the lucky recipient of a “Golden Ticket,” their charity will receive additional prize money. In addition, the top five organizations on the Leaderboard will receive prize money. Mark your calendar and plan to join us online on 11.12.13. Put KRF in the top 5 by rocking out to the Uke with us!
